MUSK is *SO* smart

But first, as always, Drumpf – so laughable-NOT, so stupid, here he is with his game of Opposites, accusing others of what he does: So many of his basket case diagnoses all IN PLAIN SIGHT. So, his projecting on others what he does must mean that he *recognizes* his activity is wrong and culpable since he means it as a condemnation in others, and as always his outward blaming includes that he is a victim, is victimized by others. All of his games, gimmicks, ploys, shucksterisms are *SO* obvious, not needing clinical credentials to detect, only some normal life experience or street smarts. So he denies the habitual, daily incitement he flings out on whatever different issues and flips it at his perceived victimizers.

And then there’s his oligarch MUSK, similarly of the entitlement delusions here saying that he was joking when he asked in Xitter why Drumpf was the only one being shot at and not BIDEN or HARRIS. Entitled to his “joking Free Speech,” then barely retracting it when he’s confronted about it. But he’s *SO* smart, if it was a joke why couldn’t be smart enough to see its implications? And the wingnut media yakkers, here Dana LOESCH whining about how unfair it is that Drumpf is blamed for extreme rhetoric, while she claims it’s the Left calling out his “existential threat to democracy” that is the real/actual, extreme rhetoric responsible for the polarization and incitement to violence. Oh, not the endless Mean-Child name calling, mocking, ridiculing, threatening (all pioneered by Father COUGHLIN and LIMBAUGH), not to mention the poke-in-the-eye actions of undermining democratic institutions and making authoritarianism seem acceptable and normal.

Then there’s one more of those Eternal Questions: His FOLLOWERS aren’t any more monolithic than any other group, so there must be some of them who don’t BELIEVE in Drumpf’s antics and stunts but mainly just want to stick it to Libs or tool-use Drumpf for power and for the Court nominees, so what’s their limit? What good will it do them when he has destroyed it all.

Trump Directly Blames Harris and Biden's Words for the Latest Attempt On His Life: 'Their Rhetoric is Causing Me to Be Shot at'

Elon Musk says he's learned a lesson

…. In a now-deleted post, Musk questioned why there have been no assassination attempts on President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk later said he'd learned a lesson from the post after an X user told him it was being misinterpreted. ….

"If someone takes a shot on Biden or Harris or Walz after two registered Republicans took shots on Trump and Musk posted this insane tweet, we must consider Musk's role in any such violence," AI expert Gary Marcus said in response to Musk's deleted post. "Elon is not ok." ….

"Turns out that jokes are WAY less funny if people don't know the context and the delivery is plain text," Musk wrote in a subsequent post.

Elon Musk @elonmusk
Well, one lesson I’ve learned is that just because I say something to a group and they laugh doesn’t mean it’s going to be all that hilarious as a post on 𝕏 ....

2. Interesting that the ceo of a plain text posting platform is blaming the medium for his bad p.r.

Seems like the sort of "lesson" a social media ceo would be expected to already be very familiar with.

Of course, I'm willing to bet that the "context" and original medium don't make the statement any less abhorrent, and it probably only got laughs because it was a more compliant audience....

4. Well, Elon, you obviously have NOT learned a lesson here

People read what you posted. Some may take it seriously after you gaslit them. Some may take steps to take action. Already we've had school closings due to a bomb threat because trump brought this topic up and double and tripled down on it.

Some extremist may go so far and take out an assassination attempt on Biden or Harris. Someone may be killed, as the trump supporter in Pennsylvania was.

That is why it was not a joke. That is why it was not funny.

it's a bad idea to use your surviving employees as a focus group when attempting to sound like you know what the hell you're talking about on your social media platform.
