What is it about Springfield? Now the Restaurants are Serving Stolen Pets? (satire)
Yesterday, former President Donald Trump claimed that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio operated restaurants that offered only food from stolen pets.
In a rally in Tucson yesterday Trump said, “They’re stealing and serving the pets of the people that live there. And this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame. These illegal immigrants are serving these beloved pets as fast food. Last week they launched three fast casual chains named “Hot Dog,” “Kittyburger,” and “Fried Fido.”’
“They even started a French restaurant named Le Berger Allemand Chapardé, (that translates to stolen German Shepherd). Trump said this menu featured Ris de Bichon Frisée Volé à la Financière and Escalopes de labrador Retriever Volé Chasseur.
“It’s a disgrace,” Trump continued. “They list three versions of Persian kitten–Chaton Persan Volé Saute Bearnaise, Filet de Chaton Persan Braisé Prince Albert, and Fricadelles de Chaton Persan Volé. This should never happen in America.”
