On the ground in Ohio...

My veteran son lives in Ohio, maybe an hour out of Cinci in one of those 30k population towns.

He's got a hauling business where he transports office stuff into storage or such things... drives a new F350, has a few trailers etc.

We were discussing the cat thing and he says everyone he runs into on a daily basis buys into it... it's all they want to talk about.

He knows it's BS but keeps mum not to lose work...

Propaganda works.

I had hoped that people in Ohio would be outraged about what's happening in Springfield because of Vance and Trump's vicious, racist, debunked lies, and that the propaganda would backfire.

The rumor builds on very old stereotypes about immigrants, Black people, and Haitian religions.

He's the preferred vendor for a handful of midsize companies where he basically moves heavy, bulky stuff from facility to facility.

He'll sometimes get a call at 5pm, pick up something in Chicago by Midnight and have it at the customers facility by dawn.

that Ohio doesn't flip to Harris, although I don't think that it was in play as a swing state.

However, with national attention on the situation, it could affect other swing states with its anti immigrant message.

17. Not an either/or thing. Seems like there is a prerequisite to not be the sharpest knife in the drawer to believe this
