SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — Schools in Springfield have once again been evacuated this morning after unspecified threats obtained by the city’s police division.

In a statement obtained by 2 NEWS, a spokesperson on behalf of the Springfield City Schools District confirmed that two elementary schools in the district were evacuated and relocated.

Based on information received from the Springfield Police Division (SPD), Simon Kenton and Kenwood Elementary students were evacuated from their buildings to an alternate district location.
