Why Doesn't TSF Play Kid Rock & Ted Nugent Songs

I see that Eddy Grant took 4 years to win a lawsuit against TSF for playing Electric Avenue in a video. TSF owes infringement, damages, and lawyer fees.

This decision gives hope to others who are suing TSF or telling him to cease and desist: White Stripes, Issac Hayes, Beyonce'

TSF must not like Magat musicians' music?

The sad part is that some billionaire Magat will pay his fines.

by the accumulated wealth that T's tax and other policies assist.

This was accumulated wealth as of 2019. Just think what's happened since: covid exploitation, greedflation, tax cuts solidifying.

T's money troubles are a drop in the bucket compared to $120 TRILLION dollars of family wealth in the upper class. They could pay his fines out of couch change.

Wonder if Ted told Kid about the time he wore the same jeans and underpants for three months, without washing or bathing, in order to sicken the Draft Board doctors in his effort to avoid military service during Vietnam.

I'll give it an "8", Mr. Clark.

(Disclaimer: I don't think I've ever heard the song, and I have no intention of seeking it out...)

And Ted Nugent has performed live at Trump rallies in the past.

Don't know why he doesn't use any of their recordings at his current rallies.

As an amateur musician and as a friend to many amateur and professional ones, its very, very unusual for someone to be contacted by the holder of the rights to music and then thumb your nose at them. Its virtually unheard of. Only someone with complete and utter contempt for others would do such. You'll get taken right to court, and its not worth it. Again, its very rare. This is simply one more matter that shows how sick Trump is.

I've also thought about what he is doing, and its reached a point where RIAA and publishing companies need to get involved. What you do is, contact the places he has leased for rallies and advise them that this individual has a demonstrated history of copyright violations and the venue will be held liable for any violation he commits. I believe this is legally sound and the venues would have no option but to cancel him because he couldn't be trusted to "promise" to not commit violations. This would disallow the venue to have a contract which would "hold then harmless" if he commits violations because they are providing the forum for him(which is the legal crux, he is being provided a forum where the owner has reason to expect him to commit violations).

There should be a law that if someone uses your image/intellectual property without your permission, then you can use theirs to promote any cause you wish.

Imagine a smiling Trump promoting ______________.

I saw Nugent at Cal Jam 2 in 1978.

His music was part of the soundtrack for SoCal boys growing up in the late 70's...

The music reminds us of motocross bikes, drinking beer and getting up the courage to ask a girl out.

Kid Rock, other the other hand... he's more of a 90's thing and by that time I wasn't really into such music and probably spent more time listening to Natalie Merchant or classical CD's as at that time I was going through my audiophile phase and had a Mercedes worth of audio gear in my house...

Maybe you were listening to Rachmaninoff at age 15, IDK...

But my group was into Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Clapton and the like
