So, if yesterday was an unscheduled golf outing for Trump?

How did the guy know that Trump was going to be there? Seems a bit off to me?

I am not starting a conspiracy theory, but it’s a very interesting point of how the information was obtained.

Odds favor a rump sighting on the golf course on any given day that he’s not out screaming screed at suckers.

He could stay in Bedminster or Mer-A-Largo and never leave the premises and he is so popular that the could never lose the election. He would only lose two votes -- Harris and Swift.

Does he get videotaped for every round of golf? Convenient to be able to show him golfing, although the video clearly showed that TSF can't putt, he has the yips.

It is also a nice touch to report that shots were fired near the president when we don't know if those shots came from the Secret Service.

How hard is it to fake if someone donated to ActBlue?

Will these assassination attempts keep happening when TSF drops in the polls?

Trump rakes in putts. He often gives himself a putt even when the ball is “outside the leather.”

He cheats relentlessly on the course. “Commander In Cheat” is a scathing expose of Trump's foul history with this grand sport written by Sports Illustrated’s Rick Reilly.

It would make me furious to play with Trump because cheating at golf is stupid. You’re only fooling yourself while insulting your playing partners. No, thanks.

When I was in high school, we thought the same thing about cheating on tests. I guess that attitude has changed now.

He drove the cart on the green, or extremely close, watched a couple other people putt, then he putted. It wasn't a 1-2 putt, it was 1-2-3.

Someone had to bend over and pick his ball up for him. He probably would have missed the tap in with that stroke.

But, how are we not discussing the weapon used and how it got there, 24/7?

Biden - along with many Democrats - has consistently tried to ban or limit use of, and access to, these weapons. Trump comes off as loving guns and unfettered availability to them.

It's similar to what I like to call the "seatbelt conversation". Someone - e.g., a celebrity like Derrick Thomas, Princess Di - dies in an accident where wearing a seatbelt may have prevented death or even injury. Yet if you dare to ask whether the victim was wearing a seatbelt, you get immediately shut down by people who gasp and say, "now is not the time to have this conversation!"

I disagree. It's exactly the time to have this conversation.

Don’t know why but I’ve always thought Trump played almost every day.

An uncle of mine was a career high school football coach with good record as well as athletic director at a small college in Mississippi. He retired to Pass Christian MS, built a home on a golf course where he and his regular buddies played EVERY SINGLE DAY except Sundays and a few days after Hurricane Katrina. My aunt —- they were married 60 years —- was happy to have him out of the house every day!!

Could it be that Melania - - -

I suspect that Putin may be planning these "attempts" on tRump to prepare us for the assassination of Kamala Harris. "They tried to kill me too!" will be his battle cry. Putin may be hopping that with Kamala out of the way, America will go for tRump over Walz.

I also believe that's why he didn't shoot back. All of a sudden, when the SS saw him, and started to shoot, he found himself on the wrong end of a shooting range. He didn't think that would REALLY happen (though he DID make something of a plan, with the ceramics in the packs), but when bullets start flying by, plan A goes the way of the dodo. I see him panicking, dropping everything, and running.

Trump spends most days golfing, so the chance that he would be on the golf course at his club on a Sunday was very high. According to a couple of articles I read, the person who planned to shoot at him waited around 12 hours until Trump showed up.
