ABQ Journal poll shows Harris has the lead against Trump in New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — New polls from the Albuquerque Journal show Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris leads Trump in the land of enchantment by 10 percent. Other data from the polls shows she has a strong backing in Albuquerque and north-central New Mexico.

Harris is also popular amongst college graduates.

"Since Kamala Harris has replaced Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee, I think there's been a lot of excitement among women and young people and Democrats for her candidacy," KOAT Political Expert Brian Sanderoff said.

The poll shows Harris has support from 54 percent of females polled, while Donald Trump has 33 percent.
