Ryan Routh, another questionable person with past weapon charges in possession of an AR style weapon. What a country

"The Associated Press previously reported that Routh was convicted in 2002 of possessing a weapon of mass destruction, per online North Carolina Department of Adult Correction records but could not provide details about the case.

A December 2002 story by News & Record in Greensboro, North Carolina, said that a man with the same name was arrested after a three-hour standoff with police.

Routh was reportedly charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possessing a weapon of mass destruction, "referring to a fully automatic machine gun."

"The AK-47, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikova (Russian: Автомат Калашникова, lit. 'Kalashnikov's automatic [rifle]'; also known as the Kalashnikov or just AK), is an assault rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge. Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it is the originating firearm of the Kalashnikov (or "AK&quot family of rifles. After more than seven decades since its creation, the AK-47 model and its variants remain one of the most popular and widely used firearms in the world."

In my mind this guy has questionable mental issues going on, but I won't be surprised if trump and the rethugs try to blame this on "hateful rhetoric" coming from Democrats, and of course the bothsiderism media will ignore the fact that most of that HATEFUL rhetoric is coming from trump, the republicans, and his followers.

I really hope Americans can see through their fraud.

about their absolute right to carry what ever gun wherever they want. We need a solidly Dem Congress and White House to make changes, and even then the SC would over rule.

reasons we need a Democratic Congress, especially in the Senate, where judges are confirmed.

The AK platform is different physically and predates the AR platform by a quarter century.

Not that it's a big deal... I agree on principle.

and he was allowed to buy an AR-15? My God. Who isn't allowed to have one of those things?

ETA: My bad. It was an AK-47. No one is supposed to have those.
