Law enforcement sources told the New York Post that there was a shooting "near" Trump as he was leaving his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday afternoon.

"Two people exchanged gunfire outside of Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach," the report said. "The shooters were targeting each other, and the gunfire was not targeting Trump."

The report also confirmed that "Trump was never in danger and that the shooting happened in an area outside the club that is known for high crime."

I first heard it was shooting outside the course via breaking MSNBC news. It then was reported by Josh Dawsey/WaPo and Lisa Desjardins of PBS NewsHour that he was in a bush on the course itself but the only shots fired were by Secret Service agents.

14. I pulled my OP that quoted the gunman's Twitter profile from Spiro's Ghost

I've used Spiro's Ghost as a source in the past as he has a large Twitter following. But, it's the event itself that made me pull it. Initial reports (as heard on breaking news on MSNBC) were about gunfire outside the golf course. It then morphed into two reports from very legitimate journalists:
Lisa Desjardins of PBS NewsHour and Josh Dawsey of WaPo telling essentially the same story about the gunman being in a bush on the golf course, but no shots being fired by the gunman.

I'm sitting back on this one for now - too much information to be able to report on it with any degree of certainty.
