ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (AP) — Pope Francis on Friday slammed both U.S. presidential candidates for what he called anti-life policies on abortion and migration, and he advised American Catholics to choose who they think is the “lesser evil” in the upcoming U.S. elections.

The survey's sample of 1,000 American Catholic voters Aug. 28-30 shows that 50% of Catholic voters plan to vote for Harris, compared to 43% who support Trump. When undecided voters are taken into account, Harris' lead rises to 54%, while Trump's support rises to 45%.

give the attitudes of many Roman Catholic priests and bishops in the US: in 2020 they supported - and told their parishioners- to vote for Donnie because of Biden’s position on abortion.
