"SNIP...........
Sara Longwell: I conduct focus groups with voters every week, and Ive heard one theme come up again and again: They often worry about Harriss ability to stand up to dictators such as Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.
Last night, Trump was, in a certain sense, a stand-in for strongmen like Putin and Xi, and the voters I spoke with right after the debate said that Harris held her own. They appreciated her ability to bait Trump, counter his lies, and look calm while doing it. Her decision to point out how easily foreign despots use flattery to influence Trump also did her a lot of good.

(3,126 posts)At least daily, if not every few hours. Cantaloupe Caligula the Corpulent has not one iota of self control. His impulsivity, combined with ego, narcissism and need to play the victim card, result in his projection-based, unhinged, delusional and self destructive rants on LIES Social.

(13,540 posts)I'm glad Harris brought attention to that on national TV with all those eyes watching, because I'm not sure people at large have really glommed on to the sad fact that Trump the narcissist is a huge sucker for flattery from bad actors who want to hurt the U.S.

(39,661 posts)Fear VP cant stand up to strongmen, dictators. So theyll vote for the guy who bows down to dictators and gives them our secrets.
They arent swing voters, they arent Patriots. They are idiots.

(46,760 posts)We understand Trump better now, after the J6 insurrectiion, after the indictments, the court cases, the 4 additional years of bloviating. It's still the same in many ways, QAnon's pedophile pizza, Jewish space lasers and bamboo ballots are now childless cat ladies and Haitian microwave cat meals, but Trump is also crazier now, more extreme, and without the office of the presdency to give him legitimacy and cover. If swing voters begin to understand and act rationally upon their realizations and awakenings. we are making progress.

(113,130 posts)don't become big city DAs. Or big state AGs.
If Putin thinks she's going to be any kind of pushover, he's the one who will get flattened.

(7,480 posts)As soon as KH baited that fake bully with his lousy crowd sizes, he started to melt and never recovered after. He left the stage with the same look he had after his private meeting with Putin.

(5,428 posts)Seriously? So they would rather vote for someone who kisses dictators' asses? George Carlin was right - America is full of really stupid people.

(617 posts)attention. They know who they are voting for but just like the attention they get by being independent.

(7,769 posts)is getting paid for their participation. It's not that anyone is undecided in this race, this is a paid gig, with the added benefit of attention seeking. I could sort of see a bonafide undecided voter in one or two past presidential campaigns, but not this one.

(617 posts)on either CNN or MSNBC, the other day. She was a middle-aged white woman and said and I'm paraphrasing "I didn't like how Trump came across in this debate and he did a poor job in this debate but he's not one of those people that comes across as likable, but he does get stuff done. I did better economically when he was president." That signaled to me this woman will still vote for Trump and is trying to find a way to justify it.

(7,769 posts)which if I inferred correctly, she is not an "undecided" voter. It's all about her financial gains, not about democracy, our country, stability, security , the rule of law, and certainly not about Women's rights. It pains me to see Women of means prefer a psychotic lunatic over someone stable, strong, compassionate and intelligent among many other superb qualities shining bright for all to see, yet she claims to be undecided. Poppy Cock!!
