Before President Biden dropped out, the media had been pushing "his age as an issue for over a year.

President Biden stepped aside, and now the press now pushes that "we don't know where VP Harris is on the issues, and we have no details".

Where is the media on trump's age, incoherent ramblings, and the lack of details on his economic plans, etc.

It couldn't be more obvious that most of the press is carrying the water for trump.

His ruggedly handsome painted orange face.
His perfectly dyed and weaved golden hair covering his bald spot.
His little paunch belly.
Did you see how he beat death by dodging a speeding bullet?
He’s probably immortal as a sent by God Angel 😇 to save us all.

Blatant cognitive decline, but the media chooses to ignore it all. Didn’t change with Biden’s withdrawal. But I keep poking at NYT and WaPo and my local newspaper, realize this is futile.

11. Why? Because they are "corporate"? They always have been.

But they have not always been as biased. The only significant change in media since Reagan is ownership which— while still corporate—is also right wing controlled.

And, the corporate explanation that they favor Republicans for ratings and profit pales in comparison to what they stand to gain from more tax cuts.

You know, those six media companies controlled by obscenely rich men who want more tax cuts, or the USSC will need to be expanded under a De,ocratic President and Congress so that antitrust laws can be enforced.

We don't have reliable, trustworthy news media in this country and it's showing rather badly. People are uninformed, misinformed and disinformed nightly as the evening "news" dominates suppertime conversation.

I got fed up with those fuckers a long time ago. I'm glad othr people are fnally notiing how they're damaging this country.

So, why would they ask about his age? The profit is in the horse race coming down to the wire.

16. It's the White Man's Pass

Of the two parties, the republican party is far more white and far more male. White males in American have always received more credit, more passes, and more reverence than anyone else. The Democratic party is less white and less male (and straight, and Christian for that matter). Non-whites in America have always received the outsider's scrutiny. Even Democrats who happen to be white males get that same unwarranted scrutiny.

Corporate press/media merely follow and feed into notions held primarily by white Americans. Therefore Democrats always receive less credit and more skepticism than republicans across the board in news coverage.

Republicans must be taken seriously and always given the benefit of the doubt. It's a habit.
