If you pull up the interview and look at the table, neither she nor Tim have a single thing in front of them. Not even a bottle of water.

Dana Bash does have notes and water, but she is asking the questions.

Yet i keep hearing from tsf supporters that she used notes, parroting what tsf keeps saying. Ive even heard it on news channels and it wasnt challenged. The absurdity of this is that is so easy to refute.

Its clear as day. There were no notes. Just look at the 31 second mark in this clip.

1. She knew Bash wasn't going to ask her

anything remotely challenging of a policy nature. From their daily workloads, there was nothing she was going to ask that either of them were going to have trouble with.

2. Ah yes, the scandal freeroll.

The media loves granting republicans the gift of the scandal freeroll.

Republicans are allowed to constantly attack democrats for anything and everything. Facts are completely unnecessary. The media always treats all such accusations as deadly serious, completely credible, campaign- if not career-threatening, and needing a prompt and effective response from the target of the attack because it's a test of their skill and political survivability.

The credibility of the attacks or the attackers is never called into question despite their long track record of just making up crap, making mountains out of molehills, and doing the same thing or worse and not caring.

It's a freeroll. The attack may or may not work, but it never ever hurts the attacker. The media sets it up so they can't ever lose by attacking democrats, even if it's a complete lie.
